SITE POINT SYSTEM
[/font][/center]Here at Rise Against The Fall we use a point system to distribute stats and get a general idea for your characters strengths and weaknesses. We understand that points are a pain to understand and use, but it has been a system that has served us well with our sites, not necessarily ours. The Staff members want all of our users to have fun and roleplay without being stuck on the points and stats. If you need any help working the points or understanding the system all that you need to do is ask a staff member, either through cbox or pm, or make a post somewhere. Also if you have any suggestions for improvements, fixes, skills, or anything we're always open to suggestions. The point system may be difficult at first, but once you understand how it works it'll be as easy as typing up a character sheet.[/size]
JUTSU POINTS ; JP
[/font][/center]The main point system on Rise Against The Fall is the JP system or Jutsu Points. JP, as it will be shortened to, is used to purchase your jutsu that you're shinobi uses. You gain JP various ways, the easiest is through rank. Each rank has a certain amount of JP allotted to it and you gain more after every rank up. The other most common way to gain JP is to perform missions and training topics. The amount of JP you gain from missions will be based on what rank the mission is. Another way to gain or use JP is by getting services from other characters/roleplayers. Many other characters could be swayed to helping you out by giving them some JP. JP will be the most heard of point system on this forum as it is the most used, but hopefully will be the easiest to get use to. If you have any questions remember to ask a staff member.[/size]
- Genin: 50 JP
Bonus of 50 JP - Chuunin: 60 JP
Bonus of 65 JP - Anbu Chuunin
Bonus of 60 - Special Jonin: 55 JP
Bonus of 90 - Jonin: 65 JP
Bonus of 90 JP - Anbu Jonin: 30
Bonus of 100 JP - Retired Anbu
Bonus of 30 JP added onto Anbu Jonin - Anbu Captain
Bonus of 45 JP added onto Anbu Jonin - Jonin Commander
Bonus of 135 JP added onto Jonin - Sannin: 70
Bonus of 110 JP - Retired Kage
Bonus of 30 JP onto Kage - Kage: 50

All jutsus have different costs, depending on their rank. The following shows the costs for all jutsu ranks.
E-RANK - 5 JP
D-RANK - 10 JP
C-RANK - 15 JP
B-RANK - 20 JP
A- RANK - 25 JP
S-RANK - 30 JP
Remember, Bonus JP DO NOT STACK. You get the Jutsu Points from all the ranks you've passed up to the one you have, and THEN you add the Bonus for the rank your at.[/blockquote]
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ; KSP
[/font][/center]There are three ways for a ninja to fight, and that is through using his or her Ninja Arts. These arts are Ninjutsu (the manipulation of chakra to achieve a grand range of effects), Genjutsu (the manipulation of your chakra onto another to create illusions), and Taijutsu, which is physical hand-to-hand combat. All these fall under Knowledge Skills, and your mastery in any of the aforementioned categories is determined by how much KSP you spend on them.[/size]
Each level of Knowledge requires a certain amount of points. The exact numbers are as follows:
- Level 1: 2KSP.
- Level 2: 2KSP.
- Level 3: 2KSP.
- Master Level: 4KSP.
In total, to master a branch of the Ninja Arts, you need to spend 10KSP. How much KSP you have is decided by rank. The exact amount is as follows:
- Genin - 8 KSP
- Chuunin - 14 KSP (+6)
- Jounin - 20 KSP (+6)
- Anbu Jounin - 22 KSP (+2)
- Sannin - 24 KSP (+2)
- Kage - 26 KSP (+2)
That's all.
ABILITY SKILLS ; ASP
[/font][/center]Most ninja train in some way, or possess a natural affinity towards an ability. We label this as an Ability Skill, and they are similar to Knowledge Skills. Each level of your ability requires a certain amount of points. The cost is as follows:
- Level 1: 1ASP.
- Level 2: 2ASP.
- Level 3: 3ASP.
- Master Level: 4ASP.
In total, it takes 10ASP to master an ability. According to the rank of the individual, the amount of skills they have to utilize varies. This is as follows:
- Genin and Chūnin: 4 Abilities.
- Jōnin, and Tokujō: 5 Abilities.
- ANBU Jōnin, Sennin, Kage, and S-class Nukenin: 6 Abilities.
Again, similar to Knowledge Skills, depending on your rank, you have a certain amount of ASP given to you. The exact amount is as follows:
- Genin - 7 ASP
- Chuunin - 15 ASP (+6)
- Chuunin ANBU - 17 (+2)
- Sp. Jounin - 21 ASP (+4)
- Jounin - 25 ASP (+4)
- ANBU - 28 ASP (+3)
- Sannin - 32 ASP (+4)
- Kage - 36 ASP (+4)
The ASP gain, like the KSP, is automatic when you rank up.
