Clan's biography

Metsujin Madoshi originates in Nokogakure. They were a group of native people who have always lived near the volcano in the area. The people gradually built a resistance to the heat and flames of the area that they chose to live in which passed on to their offspring. Their legend says that one night the volcano they chose to live near erupted violently threatening to take their entire clan with them. The elder of the clan made an offering to gods of fire and the volcano for help. While they tried desperately to vent the lava away from their village it was said a deity came out of the volcano offering help in exchange for a sacrifice of half the clan. The elder refused and it was said that he struck down the deity, took its power, and used it to save the clan that night. After that night the elder blessed his clan with the power he took from the deity and every member of the clan from then on had this power.

The clan were fairly isolationist in their history only allowing merchants in and out of their estate for supplies. When the shinobi responsible for Nokogakure's erection stumbled upon the clan they was some confrontation at first. The clan was very aggressive of their territory, but through careful planning by the founders they managed to calm the clan and invite them into their village. The clan relocated their members and treasures into Nokogakure and become a military force for Nokogakure.

Once the clan became primarily shinobi they gained customs fit for fighters. Instead of being governed by the elders of the clan, the clan is lead by a chief who is the best fighter. They raised their children in hopes of developing stronger and better shinobi to raise the clan's power. Children are put through rites of passage to become full-fledged members of the clan, and by extension shinobi, else they are forced into a life of housekeeping for the shinobi of the clan. Though unlike other clans, there is no discrimination within the clan as long as they have power. Women and minorities, which are a common sight, hold just as much power within the clan.

Element/Substance creation and manipulation: Use of both Yin Yang Elements of Fire, Zogeton and Kokuton. Requires Master Lvl Ninjutsu Knowledge, Zogeton and Kokuton are the only elements the user's are capable of using.

Passive traits/abilities

Members of this clan have a resistance to fire. This simply means heat, fire, and general hot things are better endured by these people. This does not translate to an absolute immunity. Fire still hurts, just not as bad. A rite of passive in Metsujin Madoshi is to consume another's flame thus clan members all learn how to eat fire. They cannot eat large amounts of fire fast enough to assist in combat, but they can devour flames over time and often get a boost to their own flames from it.

Metsujin Madoshi members have a very special affinity to fire. Some say its a gift of the gods while others say its just a genetic defect in their clan. Iconic to the clan are the clan members ability to use both white and black flames. Members of the clan are unable to use Katon style jutsu or any basic fire abilities. However, they are able to both Zogeton and Kokuton flames.

None, the clan members can rely on Taijutsu, but no specified style has been developed. Though don't think that you won't find flaming punches and kicks going around.

Effects: This technique requires no handsigns and allows the user to cause any part of their body to burst into flames. These flames don't hurt the user, but can be very damaging for others that touch them. The user can use either black flames or white flames and can switch between flames, but cannot switch more than once per post. The white flames cause moderate burns when something comes too close. The black flames burn as well, but not as potentially. They stick to whatever touches them as well leaving behind patches of black fire that are difficult to put out. Requires one chakra per post to maintain.

Effects: This technique creates a large scythe-shaped flame in their hands that they wield like a weapon. The scythe isn't a physical weapon, but due to the high temperature of the white flames and thin concentrated lines of fire it cuts similar to a scythe. 'Cuts' made by this scythe are also seared by the flame making the cuts nearly glass smooth. Requires one chakra per post to maintain.

Effects: This technique coats the user's arm in black flames. When the user swipes their arm the flame fly off of their arm and nearly triple in size. The flames coat an area with black fire. The flames move through the air in the direction they were thrown for nearly thirty seconds before settling on the ground coating the entire area in black fire.

Effects: This technique creates a giant fireball of black flames around the user. The user must take a certain stance and remain in that stance to keep the flames around them. The fireball is easily three or four times the user's height and retains its dimensions at all angles. The fireball disrupts most jutsu that enter it and burn those foolish to launch themselves at it. The more solid something is the more likely it will get through. Once the user moves out of their stance the fireball sizzles away before disappearing completely.

Effects: This technique shrouds the user's arms in white flames that lash out into a the maw of a giant beast. The mouth closes down on its target and traps them in an inferno of white hot fire. Those caught within can be turned to ash in a matter of seconds. As long as the user has a connection to the beast through white flames the fire will sustain. The instant the user is disconnected the flames will sizzle away before disappearing completely.

Effects: This technique releases a giant blast of flame from the user's mouth. The blast easily peaks around twenty feet in diameter and travels forward at rapid speeds. The flames start out as Zogeton, white, flames causing the blast to be very hot and destructive. When the blast reaches its destination it stops and explodes outward. The flames of the explosive shift to Kokuton, black, flames creating an orb of expanding fire. The orb reaches out around nearly fifty feet before dissipating slowly. The blast leaves behind scorched earth covered in patches of black and white fire.

Sure but there are some things to go over.

First the clan is open, but since you're from Kumo and I believe you stated in your app that you spent your whole life there, you'd have to have some sort of history as to how that occurred. Note that this clan originates in Nokogakure. This history just needs to be incorporated somewhere into your character, or just posted here.

Second I noticed you were wanting to do some sort of Lightning God Slayer as well. The rules of the clan are that you can't have any more elements other than the elements of the clan because the clan allows you to use both Yin and Yang of Fire. It's one of the drawbacks decided upon to balance the clan. So if you join this clan you won't be able to have Lightning element as well.

If you don't mind these stipulations you're more than welcome to join, but if you don't like them you don't have to join. You're more than welcome to make your own lightning clan or just some custom jutsu.
